can someone tell me what side the pipe and wire feeds are on for a triton electric shower?

also what model is the pumped electric shower and is its connections also on the same side?

which model is good value for money in northern ireland?

The T90 is on the left. Theres a new shower out by mira I think and it has connections on both sides.

yeah mira jump - $client is looking at argos and b&q showers. i've recommended the mira elite st because he says his pressure is poor but hes looking to spend about £150 rather than £250!

as a sparks most showers connections are on the left, def go for mira, not only is it less noisier, but you can maintain them better than tritons, for eg. cleaning the filter and replacing thermostat ,and they are the most common problems, mira will last a good few years longer than triton.

The gainsborough Emerald 2 which is the triton T90 and Mira Elite equivilent is not sold through argos. It is sold through agencies by a chap named terry mulholland in Castleknock.

    I use to import gainnsborough.

    Unless something has changed recently....

just to add, a customer had contacted me shortly after xmas in the water shortage to say their power shower wasn't working so I cleaned the filters and went well. Phoned me few weeks ago to say its not going again so I said I'd get out the next week to look at it. Unfortunately my kid was in and out of hospital the week after and I forgot all about it. Phoned last week just to apologise and said I hope they got it done... She told me she had to get someone else but if she knew that she would have waited (my fault - but anyway). Turns out this dude told her she needed a new shower. Damn I thought.. job I missed out on. Anyway! turns out he recommend she changed from a power shower to electric shower. Fair enough.. they bought a cheap shower from argos or somewhere (MX or something?) and he installed it for £85 and away he went. Shower went ok for a few hours then nothing. I worked with her daughter in law behind a bar years ago so the daughter in law phoned me asking for my help. I knew rightly what he had done but I went to view it anyway. Arsehole wired the electric shower up with the cable for the power shower which was wired to a fuse switch and kept blowing.

What a tit. People like this piss me off. Some advert in the paper with no name or anything just like "showers fitted my specialty". Its the same paper I advertise with so I'll be having a word when I renew next week. Not friggin on! Wee pensioner didn't know what the craic was. I told her the wiring of a new electric shower is the most expensive part for installing an electric shower and £85 definitely wouldn't cover everything. Felt so sorry for her and didnt even charge her for the call out, shes been done!

    that's some bolix alright.

saw the same thing with an old woman in dublin.
was working in a shop near her and overheard her story.
460 euro down and still no hot water and few rads on
10 minutes had the problem sorted for her, cost her a cup of tea though!
the bastard had robbed her blind, she wouldn't tell me who he was so i didn't push it. i'd love to have called him.

hope your kid is ok sparkpea:(
