is it just me or does anyone else out there think that selection of clothes/shoes in the shops is very poor this season............me thinks I have it sussed and that shops haven't bought full ranges this year due to recession and them being stuck with unsaleable stuff and the end of the season.

    anyone agree ????

I agree. I can't seem to spend money on clothes these days. There's nothing in most shops. Having said that, I was in Zara today and I could have spent a lot of money. They have some lovely clothes.

I never find anything good to wear during the spring/summer season, it's always been this way.

Yeah Im the same! i thought it was just Jan-Feb sale crap that meant there was nothing the last few months, but went in with the intention of spending today and I wouldnt have taken most of the stuff if it was free!

Ended up with one mediocre top and a bikini. Not quite the spree I was hoping for after a 3 month shopping hiatus!

Glad to hear that its not just me (though my sisters have all said the same).....

Zara it is for me so......................must make a trip.

Like you I cannot spend money on clothes lately (and actually have some to spare being off the smokes) - was starting to think it was just me!

Same here, Summer is the worst time to buy clothes. It's all flimsy, tacky crap for the most part!

I'm loving everything that's in-store at the moment! This is probably because I haven't got a cent to my name though, they always seem to have nice clothes when I won't have any spendable funds for weeks :/

i found the very same thing. went out last week and couldn't spend the money. although went down to pennys and they had a good few bits. i think it's the whole fast fashion thing. they don't put all their eggs in one basket and instead follow lots of different trends that something's bound to stick.

but of course with it being pennys it doesn't tend to last very long, so it's not a great an investment.

what a quandary we have to deal with?!??!?!?

lol that happened to me about three weeks ago, I saw like 6 amazing dresses I wanted, and as soon as I went back to get them they were gone! They'd been replaced by the ugly cheapo stuff :(

As a male im not particularly enamored with whats out there at the moment. I went to Dundrum last week and found nothing that interested me and thats extremely unusually for me. In the summer i like to wear shirts but pretty much everything were check shirts which i have never warmed to and its not cool when every one is wearing them

I want half of Zara and pretty much all of Mango. I got a few things in Massimo Dutti last month. Haven't seen anything Warehouse for a while. Not sure I've been anywhere else...

Oh. I've seen no nice shoes, except in Zara. I was looking for shoes alright.

I'm the same! Although I am very fussy when it comes to clothes, so I tought its just me.
I agree with your opinions on Zara - very nice stuff in there now.
Havent been to Mango yet, must check :)
    But the rest is meh.

Zara has gorgeous clothing, Dorothy Perkins is doing nice stuff at the moment,
I adore Mango at the moment, I think the likes of Topshop and Miss selfridges has gone down dramatically with cheap tacky clothing.
