I was just reading this BBC article and it talked about how it could or couldn't be possible to get your point across with a vocabulary of 100 of the most popular words in the English language.

What do you think, can you make a meaningful post with the below words? (most popular words in English from top to bottom)

    the
    be
    to
    of
    and
    a
    in
    that
    have
    I
    it
    for
    not
    on
    with
    he
    as
    you
    do

    all
    would
    there
    their
    what
    so
    up
    out
    if
    about
    who
    get
    which
    go
    me
    when
    make
    can

Like wow, like you know. Like oh my gawwwwd.

    Check this out.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-Prime
E-Prime (short for English-Prime, sometimes denoted E′) is a version of the English language that excludes all forms of the verb to be. Hence, E-Prime allows neither conjugations of to be (am, are, is, was, were, be, been, being), nor archaic forms (e.g. art, wast, wert), nor contractions ('s, 'm, 're).

Some scholars advocate using E-Prime as a device to clarify thinking and strengthen writing.[1] For example, the sentence "the movie was good" could translate into E-Prime as "I liked the movie" or as "the movie made me laugh". The E-Prime versions communicate the speaker's experience rather than judgment, making it harder for the writer or reader to confuse opinion with fact.

My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like.

I agree with the kid on the right. The other one, although he does make some valid points, is just is not as convincing as far as I am concerned.

100 words, each used once. Form an orderly queue.

Think back: Your year? Good. How our time can make any people work. Most of us want a new day. Some could see it as well, from what they say. By my will, all would be than but one; and if not for “him” or “his” (an “its”) way, there which we go into: just like the first. Know that I have to do this with you, her, other; when? Now! Also, look out! Come only in their take, then get after them: He, she, because these who use even give up on me. So, no: at about two – over.

It's a call to arms for secularists to remove the power of religion from society, with two cups of idiomatic writing style, and a dash of poetic license... yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh :pac::P:cool::eek::rolleyes::):o:D

I like that e-prime one, very interesting.

The thread reminds me of that novel that doesn't contain the letter E, I must read it sometime

Would there be time to make you see how our work will give people the good year they want. I think this can even have a new take for us. It's because most of us only look at what he could do about it. As you well know also, we just come back after and then say it. But which other day? Any, or these first two. Other than that, go get over with him.

I think it's horribly apoetic, as seen in these "conversions" from the Wikkeh:

To be or not to be,
    That is the question.

    — Shakespeare's Hamlet

To exist or not to exist,
    I ask this question.

    — modified from Shakespeare's Hamlet[8]

    Come on.
    Roses are red;
    Violets are blue.
    Honey is sweet,
    And so are you.

    Roses look red;
    Violets look blue.
    Honey tastes sweet,
    And so do you.

The original doesn't imply that the object of the poet's affection tastes sweet, and so the second version changes the sentiment of the original, and makes it sound vulgar, when it is surely at the height of innocence.
In conjunction it destroys the play on the word 'sweet', which refers to the taste of the honey, but the nature of the person's character.

And despite the work it obviously took, it'll be gone, forgotten and irrelevant in a matter of hours. I'm not mocking you, I'm sympathizing. I've been there. It sucks....
