    Hi there,
I am heading un to the big shmoke (Dublin) , from Limerick on Saturday to have a scout around for a full length dark purple dress for my bridesmaid. Have no idea where to go. I am thinking I will have a look in Debenhams, Coast, Monsoon, Pamela Scott.
I would love if people could recommend shops to visit in the city centre, either speicific bridesmaid dress shops or other boutiques that would stock something similar ...thanks in advanace :-)

Go to Debenhams for definite. I found my bridesmaid dress there very easily.
It was in blue but tried on in purple also. Look online first to give you an idea.

    Good luck!

+1 for Debenhams and coast! The large coast store up at stephen's green stocks good stuff. Just as a word of caution though...I bought 2 of my bm dresses there and a lot of the dresses on display have little marks and threads pulled from people trying on. The manager in that shop was completely unhelpful in exchanging it for me too. If you find a dress you like in any of the high street stores, try them on in store and then buy online. That way you're getting them completely fresh from the warehouse.
    Best of luck though :)

Debenhams would have a good selection alright. There's a 70% off sale on at the moment afaik so you might get some bargains!
