I have a .22 remington repeater but it would take ages to shoot em . have i any other options? ive heard good things about beagles for rabbits ? any answers appreciated.

springer and a shotgun!:D shot 17 the other week with the dog, put 9 out of 1 ditch i walked 3 times

If your close by, id say you would have a few lads who would clear you land out in a day or 2 for no charge if thats an option

as you can see loads of fellas are offering to do it for u already if you're around the area. and if you might give them the permission to shoot the odd fox the offers will increase a lot ;)

few lads with .22's sub-sonic ammo, and a mod would have fun helping you out.

You'll get no shortage of offers, what you really need is 2 or 3 lads with .22s with mods using subsonic ammo, will solve your problem in a short time. Forget about shotgun or unmoderated rifle without subsonic ammo, fire 1 shot and the rest will go to burrow very quickly, take forever:):)

id say forget about the beagle also.

Id say a few lads with ferrets or rifles with mods and your good to go mate.

Don't like the sound of "wipe them out", bet you won't with that gear, any luck with the deer in Leitrim?:D

I'd recommend using ferrets with both purse nets and long nets, depending on the type of land the rabbits are on, and also using .22s with mods at night with a lamp!

Well then ferrets and long nets during the day, and long nets at night! No guns, no noise and a lot less rabbits!

if ya ask me theres no way to get rid of them
if ya wont let lads on your land to shoot it that is
as ya said your at nothing on your own

as for beagles they will be unless after a while
as the rabbits will bolt as soon as the see ya or hear ya
best bet is a few silenced .22 rifles
and a few eager beavers behind them
