Probably just a sample plate to show the car is a 2007 registered one.

It's an eye catcher, lots of dealers use them in the showroom and on the forecourt. Leading zeros by the way are prohibited when on the road, a guy I think in Dublin had a reg assigned to him in which the numeric part was the number '7' and possibly to attract the ladies he went around with '007' on the plate, the cops prosecuted him and I think he got a nominal fine on the basis that he would remove the offending zeros!

no need to be a w***er. i was just asking. i initially thought it was a sample plate. but its strange for a private seller to do so. thanks for all the helpful replys;)

I'd say its an unreg'd used import.
