I got a card from these guys in my spokes when I parked my single speed outside city hall - are they good value?

There's a few UK ebay sellers' listings like this:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Track-Wheels-PAIR-Fixie-Courier-Double-Sided-700-/310304700991?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item483f99fa3f

It's always about £60 for a pair, which seems like pretty good value. I wonder if they're any good. I'm looking for a cheap rear to replace my suicide hub and was debating getting something like this.

Might have to call into On Track and see what they have.

I'd be pissed off if someone put a card in my spokes!

Speaking for myself, it's using my personal property for advertising without permission. I don't like advertising, and at least want to be able to control what's on my own possessions. Also, it puts the onus of disposal on me.

(I'm aware that people do it in car windows also. People are used to it. I still don't like it.)

same reason as mentioned above. its my property and if I want something Ill go look for it myself, dont need somebody giving me junkmail/junkcard.
if the place is any good Im sure word of mouth and DFGSS will be enough. spoke cards are also a bit cringeworthy imo..

I have a spare wheelset in my garage, used for about 3 months, no idea of the mileage. If your in Dublin I'll let them go for 40euro, if your interested I'll check them out on Sunday and throw up pictures.

Those wheels on eBay are Mach1 wheels. The fixie I've finally finished, after starting it 2 years ago, has an Ambrosio rear wheel on it now, but I got the Mach1 in Crumlin. Can't remember the price but they said it'd be worth bringing it back for a wee bit of truing after a few weeks.

If the OP's not interested, I may be.

Cool, I'll throw up pictures on Sunday and you can have second pick if the OP isn't interested.

They are 700c, I have had 700x23 and 700x25 tyres on them before with no problem. I'm in Dublin 14, no pics yet as my camera isn't working, hopefully tomorrow night.

I'm still interested too, not sure who gets first dibs in this situation. I'm in Dublin 14 too, don't mind going to take a look at them anytime if you can't post pics.
