PM'd you a Sammy on Saorview list Tony quoted above.

£20 more than C model in your OP but the D model is fully Saorview certified.

Got that Badger, thanks. I'm now thinking of a tv/dvd combined. Samsung have this one through Amazon, good value at around £190 delivered. I have emailed Samsung to find out for sure will it work on the digital service.

If its 22 inch you want then I got this one from Amazon late last year and it works fine for Saorview and has MHEG5

It also works as a PC monitor.

    Hi there,

I live in northern ireland and have freesat. I cannot access RTE/Network 2/TV3, with the Freesat. I got freesat, as I thought it would make my tv ready for the digital changeover.

I can get RTE etc using my old remote, which uses the signal from the aerial.

But surely when the digital changeover happens in Jan 2012, I will not be able to receive any of the Irish stations at all?

Will I have to use a Saorview box as well as my Freesat?
    Should I just get SKY?
Or would one of those saorview tvs from walker be another option.
    ITS VERY CONFUSING!!!!!!!!LOL

any advice would be most appreciated, thanks :)
