I've always wanted to get into astronomy in some way, but never quite got around to it. I don't have a telescope or anything, but i'd just like to read some sort of astronomy-related book in order to get a bit of a handle on the field in general, what kind of stuff i'd be doing, etc if i were to spend some money on one. Anyone got anything in particular you'd recommend? This is possibly a very vague question, in the stickies I didn't see anything about books at all, so maybe they're not even used that much. Any guidance ye can give without spending much cash would be nice, thanks! :)
