Cleaning a chimney (oil stove)

I have a non-boiler small oil stove in the kitchen. It is working fine, heatwise, but the flame is not as good as it is used to be.

It is serviced once a year, as recommended by Waterford Stanley, but just wondering, should I get the chimney cleaned as well? It seems quite dusty on the coals. The chimney is fitted with what looks like a coil and a cap on top of chimney. Would a regular chimney cleaner be able to do this and would this coil which is connected to the stove have to be removed?

    Thanks.
