Working in Recruitment

Has anyone here worked in recruitment before?

I am currently looking at Graduate Recruitment programs, and it sounds tough, but something I am interested in.

Anyone have any insights/experiences on it? Pros and cons? Payoffs?

    Skills needed etc.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I know someone who does this. He tells me that he feels a slight sense of shame when he (21) advises somebody in their 40s about getting into new lines of work.
