Think our versions of Autodata are a bit different.

The 2.0 D4D is showing up as 60K miles or 6 years. (engine code 1CD-FTV)

The 2.0 D is a timing chain model (engine code 1AZ-FSE)

    Mazda is showing 54K miles

Its very unusual if your 01 avensis has the old 2C 2.0d fitted as they were replaced by the d4d in 99/00

Anyway, if you have the 2C engine the interval is 100,000kms/62,000miles or 5 years.

The Mazda is listed as 150,000kms with no time specified although its listed as requiring a full inspection for condition at 90,000kms.

Yes an 01 td isn't very common, the d-4d model came out in mid 00 but a few old types remained unsold till 01.

I worked for a toyota dealer and having seen the issues the d-4d can throw up I'm happy enough in my old tech dinosaur!

The td is a lot quieter but its a bit dead in comparison.
