Ah here, despite the warning, we don't need this kind of stuff posted up.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

The Chinese government are using this clip as part of a safety campaign. More shocking to see the horrible truth of what actually happened than some silly video clips about footballers drinking one pint of Guinness and then closing their eyes while driving  they keep showing here imho

How do some of these crashes happen??? Its not like a lot of them "came out of the blue"..

The majority seem to be motorbikes/bicycles hitting trucks/cars.

There seem to be lights, but no one (bike/motorbike) seems to obey them.

Very few car on car though.

It's pretty typical in Asian countries I saw plenty of it while living in Korea.

A bit shocking but I reckon most of them were not fatal. This one here is a good one. No one hurt, the truck driver didn't even know.

There seems to be very little excuse for a lot of these accidents... When did peripheral vision and due care and attention become optional... It seems in a lot of cases, both parties involved were asleep at the wheel, or wearing blinkers.

Or so stupidly arrogant that they won't give way till the impact and by then its too late. There is something very wrong on that vid. Apart from the night time clips, how on earth can they not see each other. Makes no sense!

    Too much OP.

A lot of these look fatal.

To put a video like this together set to action film music takes real class.

When I was living in America, there was a preconception that Asians were bad drivers. Have ye heard of this and if so (^^^apart from the video at the top^^^) where does this stereotype come from?

I just back from a 6 week stint in China, I watched the first couple of mins of that video and can see how it happens. Every day without fail I saw a near miss.
Their driving is terrible, one really bad habit they seem to have is driving at night with no lights on

    Don't pause just before 1.36!
There is some abysmal driving in that video in fairness, people MUST be drunk in some of them, brake lights not even coming on etc.
Also what's the deal in a few of the accidents there are emergency services vehicles waiting at the lights and then they don't do anything after the accident occurs?
