Recommendations for a new bike

    Getting a new bike today as part of the cycle to work scheme. I am looking to get a bike that suit both my wife and I. We have kids also and I was thinking of getting something that has a detachable carry seat at the back.

    We live in the country and are thinking about a mountain bike type. Are there any such bikes that are fit for purpose described above, also something that looks pretty cool!

    Any recommendations?
