    Remember, speed test is limited by the pipe you are testing with. So if you have a better connection then the test server, you have actually tested the test server.

    The odd thing about those figures is the upload speed is only about a quarter of the download. I would have thought Google would need an upload speed significantly greater than the download speed.

    On its search side it downloads queries and uploads answers. A 25 character search can generate a million plus answers.

    Even if it only uploads a page full at a time.

    They likely do. The employee internet access is a very small percentage of their total throughput capability I would imagine.
