    This one
I like the Journal.ie even though they more or less steal stories off real journalists.

Yeah, this is boggling.... why not chastise Google for doing exactly the same thing. Or the Huffington Post? Or a million other sites... Why single out the Journal?

Have you noticed the correlation between AH threads and pieces in Irish newspapers?

Anyway, what exactly is your point apart from having a sly dig at the Journal?

    DeV.

I like the Journal, they have a fantastic iPhone and iPad app and correct me if I'm wrong but if they are quoting another journalists article don't they provide the link to that article? I'm pretty sure I've clicked through on a few occasions.

I asked for examples. Seeing as you made the allegation, I would have thought you'd be more than glad to share a few. Why are you unable to provide any?

Haven't been on it in months. Liked the 9 at 9 thing.

    Prefer Feedly for Firefox though!

I didn't know boards was running thejournal.ie but when i started checking out the journal and realised that it was mostly just linking to other media sites I just went "meh" and moved on.

This appears to be seriously lacking in a point tbh....
So I guess fair warning. I'll be locking this one up soon.

Just a point of information.... Boards does not run TheJournal. We share some directors I believe but I'm not one of them. They have an office near us and we share a coffee room so we see them from time and time and chatter but operationally there I'd no link between sites.

This is for full disclosure... I still stand by my personal comments above.

    DeV.
