Revenge Seekers - Useful for kills

Frequently while I'm playing I'll kill a player once or twice in the same place and the player just keeps coming back for revenge and I keep getting easy kills.
I frequently get an airstrike or something from the one player.

Usually all it takes is changing your position in the room or area to another corner from the one where you killed the player 2 or 3 times, then after that time stand a good bit away from the area and wait for the player to cautiously creep in and nail him again.

Why is this so common, I myself revenge seek but stop myself if I'm got more than twice, just isn't worth it.

Oh ps if you get the same player 4 times, leave a nice tasty claymore for them, you can almost hear their scream in anger when it blows them up.

Haha, ok camping aside, I want to know do revenge seekers get on peoples nerves or do they use them for easy kills.

If it's not completely out of my way I will try to seek revenge every time, most of the time people don't cop on to move out of the way in the room like you say, tomahawk is useful just pop in and throw. Theres nothing more satisfying than getting revenge, I actually had a hilarious one today me and this guy kept killing in each other then I spawned close to where he was then threw a tomahawk just as he walks past the doorway, it was beautiful

This is possibly my biggest failing. I know it's stupid, you're giving away kills, hurting your team etc......but..I ....just....can't....help it!

I once ran past the enemy team, through a hail of fire, up the ramp in Quarry just to get a camper that had already killed me five times :rolleyes:
Possibly the most satisfying kill I ever got in COD but just stupid. Here son, have a Harrier on me :eek:

I am getting better at ignoring the revenge urge but it still gets me from time to time.

i love it when i know someones out for revenge i do play on as normal but in back of my head know hes coming back for revenge and then keep killing him


i usualy get them back 1st time but obviously it happens to everyone getting killed alot looking for revenge and almost rage quit lol

One of my biggest weakness's

Always go back to the room where the campers hiding,burst in guns blazing and by then he's moved to the other corner of course.

can be fun sometimes to move around to different areas of a building, I dont mean like 5 feet from one corner to another,as in using the buildings surroundings properly but if you're stupid enough to keep returning to the same spot then you deserve to get killed.

I dont mind getting killed by someone moving around a building shooting out of it while using it as cover(type of camping i'd do sometimes when defending objectives~array Band C for eg.) but its just so frustrating to get killed by someone just waiting in a corner or behind a wall or prone just for someone to pass by because I like to think that movement to get a good angle on the enemy is a big part of the being a good player. If somebody's just going to get cheap kills then I dont rate them or their tactics so revenge is on my mind if respawned nearby.

I got 2 pm's the other night as I was playing demoition on Favela and got in behind the Militia spawn up at the top of the hill with the storm drain, was moving fom one side to the other getting easy kills, but its their fault for letting me get in there in the first place I say, if I see a guy doing the sameI make sure he hasnt got a TI down or keep an eye on where he came from to make sure he doesnt get to do it again.

I wouldnt sit all day in a building camping, just if i know a player is coming back for you,i feel like i need to get them for trying to get me, plus ists easy kills, after a while i leave the area altogether because they will get you eventually and i wouldnt want to give them the satisfaction.

On the flip side i have been bitten by the revenge seeking monster many times too.

I once spent an entire match trying to get a sniper on crossfire in cod4 , i finally got him and was the last kill with a knife.( we won no thanks to me) seeing as i got 5 kills and around 20 deaths trying to get this guy.

But it was satisfying killing him and the game ending.
