iphone 4 sync

    Hi quick question i cant figure out , my mum just upgraded to the iphone 4 from her 3gs and im trying to sync it ive gotten all the apps and photos ect but cant get her old texts onto the new phone how do i do this? thanks

    When you plugged it in first you would have been prompted to set it up as a new phone or to restore from backup, which did you select?

    Restored from old but ive figured it out i think the last phone had not been synced since july!!!! So the txt messages were only from july so i sync the old fone now jist have to resync the iphone 4

    Ah yeah, that would do it :)

    Once you have the old phone synced, you'll need to restore from backup again. Right click on the phone under Devices in iTunes and you should have an option to do this. Then select todays backup (should be marked with a timestamp IIRC) and the messages will be there after that. You'll need to resync the music etc back again after that though.
