UPC Blocking UDP port 500 inbound?

    Hi,

Does anyone know if UPC are blocking inbound UDP connections on port 500?

Port forwarding UDP port 500 doesn't appear to work , but does work for TCP, also, UDP port forwarding works for port 501.

I know UPC prohibits VPNs, so I presume this is the reason.

    Thanks.

As far as i know UPC does not block anything. Also i understand that they do not support VPN's but they do not block them.

Plenty of people using VPN's on UPC but since VPN's are usually used for business purposes then they would prefer the user got a business account.

I use a work VPN usually on a daily basis on my home (non-business) UPC connection and I have no issues.
