    my facebook account is closed for maintenence....... and has been all day.... i am able to log into my wifes account no bother..... any ideas, or conspiricay theories..???:confused::confused:

    It happens from time to time. Will probably come back in 24 hours.

    However, FB are getting pretty ruthless in deleting profiles that aren't "real name" or are businesses/organisations masquerading as profiles.

    One presumes that you've been well behaved?!?

    ha ha thanks for that.... my user name is not my real name... and only recently i've been canvassing for work among my friends.....
    should be interesting when i get back on... thanks again:cool::cool:

    You might be in trouble! FB are routinely deleting non "actual name" profiles. Have you annoyed anyone lately ... ?

    i haven't upset any one.....it came back on line yesterday,doesn't seem to be any different... i deleted my looking for work posts..... but kept my ficticious name...... i will also be keeping an eye on it..... thanks for your suggestions:D:D

    Well, I was at the Digital Summit today and there was a speaker from Facebook. They were underlining the "real name" aspect of Facebook and contrasting it with the 1990's when everyone used nicknames when on messenger chat and chatrooms etc. which were the dish of the day back then.

    Might be a good time to switch to your real name! Helps FB sell you!!!! :D

    ah if they delete me, they delete me.... i don't think i'll be changing to my real name so that they can "sell me" at all :cool::cool:
