ITs a grey Kia Ceed estate - 08 KE 7483

Please keep an eye out for it

Who knows, but they are low key, no one notices them, could change the plates and park up anywhere and you won't get a 2nd glance. Not the yoke to have for a ram raid but there is a lot to be said for having a snore mobile while carrying out various offences (one would think anyway)

What's with all the Kias been nicked recently? This is the 3rd or 4th attempt I've heard of in a few weeks.

it wasn't smart, i was genuinely wondering why a thief would want such a car.

which James threw a fair guess at

Its a scumbag meme. When one scummer figures out how to nick say a ford focus, it then becomes easier and fashionable for the other scummers to follow suit. There are definite trends with the scum. 2 years ago it was basic level starlets for a while. Not the most imaginative of creatures the rat boy car thief.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Not applicable here as they broke into the house and took the keys ;)
Average scummer can't rob a modern car without the keys.

It will probably be used for ferrying stolen goods from houses these scum break into. I'd imagine an estate is handy for transporting a large LCD tv, etc too. Being a car that is a common enough sight on our roads also means it can blend in easily.

It may also be possible that the keys may just have been easily accessible to them while they broke into the owner's house.

Or less if the mileage was high. 7 years OR 150,000km. Not that it makes a difference to the OP.
Hope it gets returned in one piece OP. Thats a lot of hassle you could do without im sure.
