looking for natural timber

    hi,im looking for natural type timber for coffee table.was thinking of 2 tree stumps and a lump of timber 2ft by 4ft roughly for the top.i want it to be straight from a tree as such and 2inch r so thick,preferrably with bark still on the edges. not sure if im explaining this timber well,there is prob a straight forward name for this type??

    If you live anywhere countryside-like, an ;)easy way to procure wood, especially stumps is to just wander a while cross-country and see what you can see; worked for me! Probably best to clear it with Farmer Jones though:D
