Is it possible to name a charity as a beneficiary on an expression of wish form?

You mean in relation to your entitlements under an occupational pensions scheme?

From memory, no. The death benefit can only be paid to a dependant of yours, or to your estate. An expression of wish in favour of anyone else cannot be implemented and will be ignored.

You can, of course, make an expression of wish form in favour of your estate, and make a will leaving a pension scheme death benefit which comes into your estate to a charity.
