First things first, above all, you need to drop this "ugly" attitude! A bit of self-confidence goes a long way!

Products wise, try a gentle exfoliator to give your skin a good clean. I use a Garnier grape one and find it's great. I use it about 3 times a week. After that you need a good moisturiser. The one you get depends on your skin type, oily, dry etc.

You can get special products, like green concealer, to help cover redness on your face. A good foundation and powder also can help.

Blusher and matte bronzer can be used to "contour" the face and create angles. Check out Youtube for tutorials.

If you're looking for product recommendations there's lots of people here who can help with that, if you let us know where you're located (for stores) and your budget.

Firstly don't be so down on yourself- we all have good points and not so good points and it's all about accentuating the positives! :)
if you have a round face you'd be amazed at what a good haircut can do- some face framing layers and a long side fringe has an amazing slimming effect! :)
With regards to uneven skin i found that cocoa butter and bio oil worked wonders in evening out my acne scars (I had really bad skin when I was a teenager and was left with really uneven red marks on my cheeks and now they're hardly noticeable, even when i don't wear make-up).
No.7 do a primer that you put on under your foundation and I find it really great for reducing redness and lasts even a night out dancing and drinking! :D
Hope that helps and really don't feel too down in the dumps. :)

i was thinking of getting clip on fringe to reduce the size of my fat face

It's an idea (and a good way at knowing how a fringe would look on you without cutting your hair first). Just make sure the colour matches really well and that the clips are easily covered, maybe with some type of band... if you can clearly see if it's clipped on it can look terrible...

OK, first of all, trust me on this one - our own 'bad points' always seem way worse to us than they do to anyone else. If you keep reiterating this idea to yourself that you have a fat face, that's all you'll focus on and it's not good for you! Make up is great to enhance what you like about your face, and yeah, to play down stuff that you like less - but if you are hung up on this idea of your face being fat etc., make up won't change that; you need to go at this from an angle which is much less self-loathing, and more wanting to enjoy playing with the angles of your face etc. Easy to say but harder to do.

Anyway, like Twee has mentioned, contouring is a way of emphasising your bone structure - though be warned, it's difficult to get nice and natural! Look for matte bronzers/face powders which are not too orange and don't have any red in them. It looks completely unnatural to contour with a reddish bronzer. The Bourjois chocolate-shaped bronzer is meant to be a nice contour powder because it's matte; on the higher end of the scale, MAC do proper contour powders in natural colours. Youtube videos explain it much better than I could; check out pixiwoo, MakeUpGeek and MissChievous for good contouring videos. Combined with a decent blending brush(es), some highlighter (powder or liquid - I like Benefit's HighBeam, and a cheaper alternative would be E.L.F. Shimmering Facial Whip) and you can really transform the appearance of your facial structure.

For redness, you can get neutralising concealers. I find green concealer to be kind of unnatural, but I recommend the Catrice concealer palette for having three shades of concealer, and two corrective concealers in green and pink (for undereye circles). It's cheap, and the formula is sheer, so it's not gunky and is much more subtle. If your redness is caused by, say, rosacea or problem skin, Vichy have a range of foundations which provide heavy coverage if that's what your skin needs. I always think that it's better to go with a foundation to provide a nice sheer/medium finish and to match your skintone, and to perfect any blemishes/problem skin with concealer, so you're not blanking out your natural skin with a thick layer of foundation.

Hope this helps, and that you stop talking yourself down! x

OP whether you have a chubby face or the bone structure of a supermodel that attitude wont help, I don't believe anyone is ugly, We are all different, come in all shapes and sizes if we all looked the same it would be a pretty boring world. I have a friend with a very round face, I have high cheekbones and would kill for her looks, We all want what we can't have the best thing is to appreciate what we do. Make up can do wonders to emphasise your best points.

If you feel like there is too much weight on your face, a healthy diet and exercise will help you lose some of this. If it bothers you that much it's an option...
