    FWIW, this cartoon encapsulates a lot of what I feel about some people lecturing ill people to have a positive attitude. It has a twist also: http://xkcd.com/828/

    Ha, I like xkcd. That was done during/after the artist had a close family member who was very very ill so that's also good to note. And when you hover over the picture the quote is also funny/true.

    It can be a vicious circle sometimes though, when you feel low or bad, and then you feel bad for feeling bad.
