Changing network settings Iphone 3gs

    Hi folks,

    Have a Iphone3gs that was on o2 but o2 have unlocked it, I have reset everything and put in a vodafone sim and its working fine.

    Its on 4.3.1 firmware.

    I am trying to update the settings but cant seem to be able to do it, anyone got any ideas how to do so, I found this on vodafone.ie but cant seem to find where to input it http://www.vodafone.ie/iphone/help/settings/

    itunes didnt ask me to update network settings, the simcard is ancient, maybe its not a 3g sim, if i updated the sim would it make any difference?
