2001 Avensis D4D clutch judder (New clutch)

The clutch on my 2001 avensis with 200k on the clock was replaced due to difficulty pressing the pedal and slippage in high gears. The DMF was found to be seized and excessive wear also on the pressure plate. The replacement parts consisted of a new flywheel (solid) and clutch kit. With the new clutch fitted there is excessive judder particularly when starting off in 1st gear. There is also noticeable vibration at around 2300rpms in 5th gear. The mechanic that fitted the clutch has re-checked the engine mountings and all appear ok. I am returning for further troubleshooting next week. Any ideas on what is causing judder ?

Assuming all parts are fitted and tightened correctly. I'd guess he just bolted the flywheel on without checking the runout.. i.e that is was completely flush to the crankshaft flange. At the speed it spins it only needs to be off by a fraction of a mm to cause vibration.

If the clutch disk had any oil or contaminants on it it could cause it too.

I'd be asking if the input shaft had been copper greased.
