Magnet wireless and Belkin router

    Hi,
My internet connection keeps dropping. When I have the laptop closer to the router it's ok. However if I move about 8 meters away it struggles. We live in an apartment and I am wondering our neighbour's wireless routers competing for bandwidth on the same frequency?

    Any tips?

    Thanks.

Got an android phone or iphone in the house? Get an app called wifi analyser, it will show you devices in range and what channel they use. Net stumbler on laptop will do the same thing, pick a channel at least 3 away form all others as they overlap. 1, 6 and 11 are the 3 non overlapping channels that most devices use

I just did. Nothing happens. I'm getting....''The connection has timed out

The server at 192.168.2.1 is taking too long to respond.
