The Irish Times had an ad insert for weekends at Delphi in Saturday's edition. There is a picture of a man and two boys in a Canadian canoe and only the boys have bouyancy aids.
Maybe it was just a PR shot taken for the ad but it still gives the wrong message - a very bad start to the summer.
I knew a man years ago who took his two sons out on Blessington lake in a Canadian without bouyancy aids. The boys made it back to shore.
