Like others, I'm considering buying a BluRay player, possibly with some form of WiFi connectivity. However, what are your views on what will happen next?

Just as DVDs superseded tapes (and produced vivid pictures on a CRT TV); they're now being superseded by HD BluRay (necessary to overcome quality constraint on SD LCDs etc).

What next? Are older films going to be leased in 3D - or will 3D only be available from here on in?

Is there any end to it at all??!!:D

I remember that question being asked the time your man invented the wheel :)
