Hi Guys, Is it possible for perished seals around windows to be replaced ? I recently purchased the house and have now only noticed condensation forming on the inside , can they be repaired or is it best to replace ? Anyone have experience of this before ?

I'm told they can't be repaired. I had the same problem, each window having 4 casements, the cost to replace the units on 6 windows was costing 3/4 the cost of replacement the complete windows with a thicker unit guaranteed for ten years. :rolleyes:

Cheers for the info , by looks of things it is far better to replace all . Another trip to the not so friendly bank is in order

Get a few quotes off a few diferent companies price can vary a lot. Normally the smaller companies offer the best service for money because a lot of the bigger companies ingage in expansive marketing. Happy hunting!!
