Fed reserve is insolvent

    There is a lot of talk that the U.S Federal reserve bank is insolvent sndcthe dollar is in real trouble this coming summer.
    What will the likely effect be on the markets thus side if the fed needs a bailout or the dollar is devalued.

    Well, gold and silver are generally used for wealth protection, so I would imagine people will start converting their money into those commodities (and possibly other commodities such as oil).

    My understanding is it is important you buy physical rather than paper, as there is speculation there isn't enough physical to cover the amount of paper out there...

    (By "paper" I mean you buy commodities but don't actually get to see them or store them yourself).
