    Hey all,

Strange question I know but the girlfriend has begged me for years to treat her to an "Officer and a Gentleman" moment i.e me getting dressed up in proper naval uniform... I've been looking on websites but they all seem to be crappy joke shop imitations, anyone know where I could pick up a quality uniform and do this proper?

    Cheers!!!

Advice, advice advice.. Well lets see. Oh yes, be sure to get an officers uniform because the regular enlisted mans one looks pretty stupid!

I've actually wondered why anyone would join the Navy when you have to wear stuff like this.

I was reading an article once about a guy who joined them, and what I couldn't figure out as I started to read is how a man (going on the picture) who managed to become a naval officer could be taken in by such shite. Little did I know.........

...theres also a white 'dress' uniform, I think.

Thanks for the replies guys, I am more than aware it's a bizarre request.

And she's dressed up plenty of times, hence my panic ;)

Ah yes, the humble brag. :D Somebody was watching NCIS last night.
A form self promotion where the promoter thinks he is, almost subliminally, bragging about himself in the context of a humble statement or complaint. Everyone listening thinks he a jackass.

Just as a side-note, it's illegal to use an Irish uniform for the purpose, unless you're already in the Navy in which case you wouldn't have need for this thread.
