A bit of fun really so dont take offense if I dont like your club gear.

I think the best looking gear in the peloton (am i allowed to call it that?) with the warrior on the back. I like the colour scheme as well. I like the lucan stuff because its easy to see in the bunch. Swords took a while to get used too but its ok. Blarneys new gear is nice.

I dont like the new trend of going all black.

The theme for all the kit this year is all red you have Blarney/Carrick/Cork County all with red jerseys. When your in the bunch its hard to pick people out.

I think the Wexford Wheelers gear is nice. Easy to spot in the bunch too.....

Think the Dectek kit is cool, very pro looking.

I love the Swords kit, but then I would say that.

I'm not a fan of the Dublin Wheelers kit.

Of course I'm biased as I'm in the club but only recently, but I think the Usher IRC gear is smashing looking. -It was a primary consideration in joining! :D.

Don't like the Lucan gear and the Orwell gear is like a tv camera (adds 10 lbs) :). The Usher gear by comparison seems to be more flattering.

There's new Usher gear coming out but I haven't had a goo at it yet.

When is the new usher gear due?

Ah... that would be an ecumenical matter...:D

"Soon" is as much high level insight as I am privy to. :)

@ spyderski: Darn so the camouflage / cloaking system aint working for wexford ???

As long as it is not a skinsuit.

    I like:

    Bray Wheelers
    Lucan
    St.Finnbar's
    Usher
    Swords

Oh, and of course the MAWS kit, though I am not being forced to say that this time.

    Boards of course ;)

I dunno why but I hate the Bray Wheeler stuff.

I've seen a few green ones about the place, not sure who they are, sponosred by Dundrum town centre anyway, I like those.

Orwell, but it reminds me a bit of HTC Columbia (2010).

Orwell , small club, newly formed 20 members or so, they is getting money together for a website , based in lucan i think, or somewhere further out in the sticks like Meath, Dublin 26 !!!! ;););)

Orwell actually pioneered that design but spent so much time bickering over the bib shorts colour scheme that Columbia got all the credit. :pac:

Off-topic, but that's not true. I am heading the post-Lance Trek brand rehabilitation taskforce.

Sort of on-topic, I like the idea of clubs with all the same bikes. I vaguely remember Stevens doing some deals in Ireland recently. Maybe it was for CX.

The new Marble City (Kilkenny kit) is nice as is The Edge. But I like the black stuff, it's more "love-handle friendly".

One of our sponsors used to be Holfeld Pumps. It was interesting to have "Fluid Handling Specialists" written across your arse.

The Dectek gear is very nice. So is team WORC's.

There's a lot of horrible stuff though.
Banbridge and UCD being the worst offenders. Dublin wheelers aswell.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,505 ✭✭✭✭DirkVoodoo

The Garda team kit and Bohermeen are pretty hideous too.

I agree with this. It's too easy, complete cop-out. And it is very difficult to tell them apart.

    West Down Wheelers:

    Reminds me of Wolverine.

I dont fancy the Orwell gear because there is too much white in it.

The SDCC (astana) is okay but I generally dont go for pro team copies mind you an all orange kit would be good.

I wear it when I want to look cool. It's hard not to look cool in the sundrive road kit.

    Trust me its doable

The WORC kit is very nice. Otherwise, Bray is the best of a very bad bunch. This is all IMHO, of course (and where H means honest, not humble).

Usher and that cool Basso kit spotted on Sunday.

The Orwell kit takes a lot more flak than it deserves.

Killarney CC. Hard to beat pink & green. A bit to much black, but give me time and I'll get that changed.

Black Rose have truly awesome kit.
    Blarney is cool.
    Like Finbars, it works.
    Clonard? (red white and green).
Limerick a simple green and white.
    Killmallock. Pretty tasty.
    Wexford Wheelers.

Worst gear. Check out West Clare CC.

It's retro chique. The real thing, unlike the re-created Sundrive retro look.
Hold onto it West Clare - it's day will come again!

What's wrong with the Sundrive kit?
