Can't say I've ever listened to him myself, but I know my dad is a major fan of Croce's music.

....I know my dad is a major fan of Croce's music.

If he hasn't already seen it, tell him to look out for this documentary. Definitely one for a real fan, very personal memories from some of his friends and some footage that I subsequently couldn't find (youtube).

I was a fan of his and he joins the list of famous musicians to die in plane crashes ie, Buddy Holly , Big Bopper , Ricky Nelson , Jim Reeves , John Denver Lynyrd Skynyrd .
