For a 5.1 enabled PC - which makes *no* sense

Hi folks, I've gotten my hands on a new computer which has about a million six 3.5 mm connections at the back - and the materials suggest it has 5.1 high-sound capabilities.

    FD4A714884B64B8EB7550D765F3027BE-0000333355-0002237836-00362L-2159EE21A98A4383BFFFDC599A4A0F87.jpg

I can just about manage to work out where to connect the keyboard, so I'm wondering, are all 5.1 speakers made equally, would they all connect? If it has a good sound ability, then I'm all for getting the speakers for it.

    Any suggestion/advice would be great.

On the top row one of the headphone jacks will be front l+r, another will be rear l+r, and a third will be center + sub.
The bottom row is probably headphones, Mic in and line out.

I have a 5.1 setup I bought with a Dell years machine a few years ago. You are more than welcome to have the speakers and sub if you are interested. They have been sitting in a wardrobe for a while gathering dust so I would be happy if they find a new home.

They look like the DELL ADA995's:

but I think they may be an older model.

ive got a creative labs 7.1 gigaworks S750 set up that uses those coloured coded connections. can be the same with a dedicated 5.1 speaker system, each individual channel is on its on dedicated cable as such, front, side, rear, centre and sub.

btw, its the fooken business!!! even 5.1 upscaled ;)
