I don't know whether I am right here in this category, if not, the admins may feel free to move it to the right place. I couldn't find anywhere else where this would fit in.

Ok, to make a long story short: I am looking for a cheap desk for my housemate's PC in the dining room. At the moment he has a very small one which can hold his Laptop and an old screen that isn't in use. There's a printer standing around and a fax/copy machine and it just looks messy with all the bits and bops scattered around.

Was just wondering if anyone in and around Dublin wants to get rid of their old desk that is still in good condition and that doesn't cost too much. If so, please drop me a line. I have checked out the Ikea catalogue and on Argos online, the only ones I found were either ok by price but just as small as the current one or a bit bigger and too expensive. I'm looking for a non expensive solution to get some order in this mess and keep it all neatly and close together. (-:

Ikea or Woodies both selling PC desks for feck all money at the moment.

Ikea have a bargins section in their shop for display/shop soiled furniture and items that are for sale with up to 50% off the list price.

I picked up a kids toy storage shelving unit for 25 euro there last week, should have been 60 euro.It had the slightest of marks on the side of it.So slight that you wouldnt even notice it.

35 euro saved is good for me.

Or else look in the free sections of the likes of adverts.ie or buy and sell and gumtree.:)

have you tried www.jumbletown.ie where people give away things they want to get rid of. For example this. You will need to be able to collect the items though. Hope this helps.
