thought it was just after 3pm, but it turns out its after 4. Was gonna nip out later for take away but could always get them to deliver and hide behind the door in my pijamas when they arrive. Very hungover, probably half drunk. Is there any conceivable advantage to me getting dressed today. Girlfriend coming home from town later but she's already ashamed of me to whats the difference. One other thing, is it ok to drink the water out of an iron?. My kettle isnt working. Saucepans are in the dishwasher but can't be bothered listening to that yoke for 2 hours. Was thinking turning on the iron and using the hot water in it to make tea for myself before i watch 10 hours of TV

Just ask the guy delivering your chinese to bring some hot water, or ring your neighbours and ask them would they mind lending you their kettle, then get them to bring it to you. You could save all of the effort and begin watching the tv and ask the girlfriend to just get you a chinese and to buy a new kettle. Problems solved, enjoy being a bum for the day.

You've lost all track of time, you're not sure if you need to get dressed, or if you can go"out", your girlfriend is ashamed of you and the only hot water you have is in the iron.

    Are you Ian Huntley?

A few quick questions before I judge you.

    Are you drawing the Dole?

If not are you attending college and doing an arts degree?

Do you qualify for the college grant?

As it is Sunday, your questions are irrelevant.

I think the OP is the best way of expressing the morning Day after the night before in word format. A moment of silence please for the hangover day.

From my last trip into Dublin City Centre, I could see that plenty of people had no qualms about going out dressed in their pyjamas... so rock on OP, rock on!

Call your girlfriend, tell her to get milk, a kettle and some teabags. She can make tea.

And it's a Sunday, the day of rest. Devote it to rest. You're not hungover, you're just slightly dying. :D

Nah. Just left it there in the iron when i realised i'd no tea bags. I have found a little sachet of instant coffee i swiped from a hotel room a few years ago, i'll use the iron water for that instead.
