    Hey,

Is there any way of linking an iphone to the radio of a car. I have an FM transmitter but have to constantly change the station as I drive. I read online that there are cables you can get but don't know where I get them. The radio is the standard as comes with '08 avensis.

Any ideas if I can get a cable or jack

Any ideas how simple/difficult it is to install cable

    Thanks

I got a kit for my Mazda 3 from these guys. It tricks the stereo into thinking it's a CD changer in the boot, and passes through commands from the steering wheel controls to the iPod for changing to the next track, etc. Really very happy with it, top quality sound.

Installing it was a case of taking out the radio, plugging this box in, and I ran the cable down through the ashtray :)

Much simpler solution. Do you have an hole for an AUX cable in the middle console between the seats ( not sure of your vehicle model ). I know it is in current models. Pick up a cable for a fiver, plug it in and then select your radio to the AUX function. Works great for me.

i got one of the connects2 kits for my avensis, and another of them for the wife's passat. connects to the CD changer input on the back of the stereo and gives you an aux input you can use standard phono cables to

well recommended, it doesn't give you steering wheel control though, some of those that do though restrict you to a set number of playlists, my method doesn't, i can play back anything on the iphone like tunein radio, gps or anything else

Check out this one - I have the equivalent one for my car, and love it.
