    Want to do this job as early as possible this year as i missed out on doing it last year.
    When is the best time to get a good kill rate?

    Also, whats the best product to use?

    wait anotehr little while until they are growing strongly, will be more effective then. say middle of April onwards

    AFAIK look for a brand that will kill off - BROAD LEAF WEEDS.

    Anything else might kill off your grass also.
