    These images were taken 6 days apart. The first on March 11th, and the second March 17th.

    Its amazing what was achieved amid the chaos going on in Japan over the last 2 weeks. We could learn a lot from them!

    I saw that on the TV, couldn't believe it! We'd be waiting 6 months and they'd make a hash of it.

    It's not really like for like though. You're comparing an island with 5 million to an island with 128 million. These roads are vital to get places because usually an alternative route just doesn't exist without going 100 miles out of the way. Here, ah sure we can just use the old road or go via that other town. Certain roads yes like the M50 or N7 near Dublin would have that importance though.

    6 months? How long has that quay wall in Cork damaged by the floods been lying in ruins?

    The M1 upgrade from J2 to J3 is a great example......Lets add a third lane and finish off with the worst Merge ever.

    if that was here youd have about 50 guys all standing around leaning on shovels smoking fags talking about how best to kill time and occasionally looking into the hole to see if it was still there.
