Problems connecting to TV.

Unfortunately, I'm having a problem connecting my PS3 to the TV via Scart.
    The TV downstairs is a Mitsubishi CT-21M3LTXP (230v 50Hz 81w). However, the one upstairs (which is a portable and I can't read text properly in-game due to it's size) is a Philips 14PT1342/25 (50Hz 220-240v 34w).

For some reason, the ps3 (slim) isn't connecting downstairs, which is the one I want to use. The Sky box and DVD player (both through the sky box and direct to TV) work through Scart, though.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it going? I've tried holding down power button until I've heard two beeps and it doesn't help, and tried both the new RCA cable and the one I had from a ps2.

For most games the PS3 needs a tv that can support 60Hz. You should double check the tvs because you only mention 50Hz

Although I've only got one game (dragon age II) and some demos, they seems to be working in 50hz.
I've got it working now (it's not a great tv nit it's definetly better, - it was mostly by using "Top" on the sky remote to cycle the AV stations, but the scart isnt very secure due to having less pins than the secure proper SCART leads (which are full and are stiff as HELL to bend).

Thanks guys. ( Add me on PSN if you'd like; Extumum)
