    Hi

Just wondering do tubes have a shelf life. Thankfully I have not received any puntures yet. (fingers crossed)

Anyway do tubes need to be replaced after a certain amount of km?

    Thanks

Not really do a car tube need to be replaced?

just keep filling it with New Air.

Regardless of whether or not cars have tubes, bicycle tubes don't generally need replacing until they've got too many holes to be worth patching.

Sensible answer: yes. But they only degrade after 5 -12 years. Unless you've been insanely lucky, you'll have replaced both tubes and tyres a few times before the five year mark.

    Cars usually don't have tubes...

    No they last forever

and who needs tubes anyway? just fill it to the brim with some well compacted grass. puncture won't bother you so much then. thats how they got by in the war
