    A Chairde,

I'm looking for an inspirational seanfhocal, something to do with good health or overcoming obstacles in life, looking on the bright side.

It's for someone who may have a terminal illness.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Go raibh maith agaibh.

I'm not sure this is what you are after but there is this expression in the Irish and it is one of my favourites: 'Níor chaill fear an mhisnigh ariamh é'.

It's just about having courage and faith at all times and to overcome any fears you may have.

I can see it applying more so in life, as in going for things, challenging yourself, etc. but it could be of help also to someone who is fighting an illness.

Or, "Is maith an fear nár cháill a mhisneach ariamh"?
