I was thinking along different lines altogether, tbh.

Surely when everyone turns everything back on after the hour is up the resulting surge does more damage than the previous hour made up for.

I think it would be more productive if we did away with Earth Hour and instead tried to inform as much people about the risng CO2 levels by any means necessary I.E. instead of having pictures of blackouts throughout the worlds cities littered in tommorows sunday papers we could have a joint effort to have an informative piece covering the front of each paper aswell as on Twitter/Google/Youtube/Facebook to inform as many as possible.


1 hour of 10%(?) of people turning their lights out is an exercise in futility lets be honest..
