LUWAK coffee beans

I'd say a few people here have tried it. Someone gave me a small bags of beans last year. It was interesting to try. It made for a smooth cup, but had a fair bit of the earthy tones you often find from Asia coffees. I'm not particularly keen on that region anyway, but others might love it. It certainly wasn't my favourite cup of coffee. (Ohh, that gives me an idea for a post.)

Certainly not worth the hype that was around it a couple of years ago, and definately not the money. It also sounds like there are some dubious practices in harvesting the beans from some of the civets too.

Had some last year in Hamburg. Thankfully it didn't taste like sh1t.

Actually, all it tasted of was fairly mediocre coffee. Quite bland. Didn't really taste of anything unusual.
