I'm planning on getting back on my bike this weekend if the weather holds up, but it's been sitting in my hallway unused since around October last year. Apart from pumping up the tyres and giving the chain and gears a good squirt of oil, is there anything else I should be looking at to get the bike back to roadworthiness?

Do you mean a technical check (if so, what should I be checking) or just get on, cycle downhill and see if I stop :)

u can test them in person mate, see their alligned correctly, then use brakes and try push bike against them check they'll stop you.

Im in same spot as urself did my elbow on bike in october so going on my first ride 2moro planning keep it on the flat.
