Hi,
This year I got the grant for first yearon a level 6 course. I don't like the course so I want to go for a level or 7 course next year and start over. The VEC told me that i would be able to get the grant again for first year then another time they told me i wouldn't. It says on studentfinance.ie when you check if your entitled to it that you can get it on the condition that this is your first time going onto an honours degree course. So since I'm going up a level does this make me entitled to get the grant for 1st year again?
I'd love a straight answer from the vec!!
