Major Handcent Bug - Sending to and Deleting Wrong Contacts

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them at all? I sent an email on the Handcent website to inform them but haven't heard anything back.

It's happened a lot of times now that if I'm texting a few people at once, lets say John and Kevin and I'm in the conversation window of Kevin and see his last text, write out a reply and hit send, my reply doesn't appear below his last and I go back out and notice that it somehow sent to John instead, then John of course texts me back to say "I think you sent me the wrong text". It hasn't happened with anyone or anything private yet thankfully but I can see this causing a lot of problems for people. Post 1 and 7 seem to have the same issue here.

Another problem is that from the main handcent window which displays all the threads, if I wish to delete threads (which I always do as I have the view that having any texts on my phone means I've something to do or something to reply to, so I delete all texts after I've dealt/arranged with person) and say I click and hold the John thread, and the menu will pop up with John at the top and I say "delete thread" it sometimes deletes another thread below and Johns is still there, this is a bit of an annoyance and I really wish they'd sort these major bugs out, but they don't seem to be popular at all? It seems to just happen when I'm busy in handcent texting a few different people at a time.

Anyone else having these problems?

the first part of this is like worse than being buried alive, what you if you are texting two girls at once lol. platform? Phone? :eek:

I believe this is an Android bug, rather than Handcent. Should have been fixed though unless you've not updated.

That's interesting, I haven't updated as I'm running a custom rom and don't fancy having to wipe everything and start over again with a new one, but if that's where the problem lies, I might have to
