Was on the train today. This women came up to Trolley Lady to ask her for tea because Trolley Lady was blocking the way to the shop.

Trolley lady says "I'm not allowed to give you tea because you're standing"
    Passenger: "Wha'?"
Trolley lady: "I can't give you it, you might spill it"
Passenger: "But it comes with a secure lid"
Trolley lady: "Sit down there and I'll give you some" *gestures to seat*
    Passenger: *sits down* "Tea, please"
Trolley lady: "Are you going to stay there with it?"
Passenger: "No, I'm going to go back to my own seat"
Trolley lady: "Then I can't give it to you"
Passenger: (basically) "Eh, I'm not a spaz"
    Trolley lady: "Sorry"
Passenger: "But when you to the shop, you've to carry it back too"
Trolley lady: "Yes, but there they give you a bag to put it in"

Elf 'n Safety gone mad, I tells ya! :D This is a new thing, last week they had no problem doing that. In fairness, Trolley Lady probably thinks it's complete **** too.

Ah yes. The brown paper bag. Well known throughout the world for it's ability to contain hot liquids.

    Elf 'n Safety?
    Trolley lady?

Did this happen in England or are you trying to post with an English accent?

Got some chicken from KFC the other day and noticed on the box it said 'contains hot food' or something like that.If it turned out cold they would know what to do with it.
